London is a world class centre of healthcare provision and medical training and is home to internationally renowned hospitals and doctors. Nearly 100 hospitals and numerous surgeries and clinics operate across the capital resulting in a constant demand for qualified and skilled medical and health professionals.
There are some 25 institutions in London offering health education or training in a range of medical disciplines, teaching almost 40,000 students annually. Each year a number of graduates from across the world join London’s medical and health labour pool following the growing demand for skilled workers.
On 20th September 2010, Metro (London) and Evening Standard will be publishing an editorially supported Medical & Health feature.
