The capital's 33 borough councils are responsible for delivering the vast bulk of the public services Londoners use on a day-to-day basis, including education, housing, local planning, social services and refuse collection.
Each council requires a talented and diverse workforce and this has to lead to the capital employing more adults working in the public sector than any other region in the country.
On 20th February 2012, Metro (London) and the Evening Standard will be publishing an editorially supported London Boroughs feature which will showcase a range of local government and county council vacancies that are available across the capital.
This feature will provide the platform to recruit from London’s skilled and diverse labour force.
