      Advertorials are a powerful medium designed to ‘stand out’ from traditional advertisements by simulating editorial content. All of our newspapers provide a complete service from initial brief through to copywriting, photography/picture search, layout, subbing and reproduction.

      The client has the right of amendment throughout. Copy and artwork is subjected to editorial approval.

      Cover wraps achieve massive standout as it is the first thing that readers will see when they pick up the newspaper. Standard or high quality glossy paper is wrapped around the publication which is then distributed by merchandisers or via usual channels. Cover wraps can be distributed to specific areas of London if required.

Gatefolds can be situated at the front or back of a printed publication, or both (6pp and 8pp versions can be stitched into the centre of the magazine).

      Inverted magazines and advertisements are both impactful and versatile, and they provide an excellent platform to showcase creative work. Within ES Magazine it is possible to publish inverted magazines, these are essentially an extended advertorial with a tailor made front cover at the back of the magazine.

      It is also possible to publish inverted advertisements within our newspaper portfolio. London Lite has also carried an inverted wrap, providing standout and the capacity to carry pages of additional copy.

      Polybags

      Publications are sealed in a polybag, four colour printing is available on both sides of the bag. Branded polybags are often used to distribute and draw attention to a supplement or booklet inside and can provide a high visibility advertising solution.

      There are a number of sponsorship opportunities available across our print media portfolio including editorial, client and advertorial.

      Editorial publish supplements annually and on an ad-hoc basis which can be sponsored by clients.

      Clients can sponsor a supplement which is not being covered by the editorial departments; the subject matter and content are agreed between the client and our editors. These supplements are produced to the client’s brief, giving more control over the content than a sponsored supplement.

      Advertorials are a powerful medium designed to ‘stand out’ from traditional advertisements by simulating editorial content that our brands offer. All papers provide a complete service from the initial brief through to copywriting, photography/picture search, layout, subbing and reproduction.

      In all of the above editorial content is presented to the client prior to booking, though the client doesn’t have control over what is written.
      When appropriate, supplements are promoted across the portfolio i.e Evening Standard, Metro, London Lite and relevant online channels.

      The Evening Standard, Metro and London Lite have a number of websites that can be integrated into a print campaign. The online element of a campaign can utilise traditional online advertising formats such as banners, skyscraper, MPU’s, buttons, page peels, roadblocks and microsites.

      Metro’s companion website www.metro.co.uk, launched MEview(co.uk) and MEmusic(co.uk) in response to demand from the 70% of Metro readers who regularly visit websites that accommodate User Generated Content (UGC). MEview allows content creators to ‘earn by view’, the more hits they get, the more money they make. A pre-roll advertisement is screened every time the clip is watched and earns the creator a ‘royalty’. MEmusic is dedicated to unsigned bands, and every time a track is bought, 70% of the cash goes straight to the artist.

      Additional opportunities such as sponsorship, viral competitions, display and pre-rolled advertising are also available on both of these platforms.
