Charity Special 2012

Charities rely heavily on the propensity to give and volunteer one's time. Fundraising events and challenges are a great way to encourage donations and involvement; they can vary from charity walks & runs to sky dives and mountain treks.

As a region, 67% of Londoners have donated to charity in the last 12 months, with over 1.5 million donating more than £100. Every day of the working week Metro reaches 1.8 million predominately upmarket Londoners.

Metro provides the perfect platform for charities to showcase their cause and fundraising activities to more adults who raise money via charity fundraising events than any other national newspaper.

On Tuesday 24th January 2012, Metro (London) will be publishing an editorially supported Charity Special 2012 feature.

We love to hear of the success our advertisers have had with our products, below is what one of our charities have had to say:

"We have been advertising in Metro (London) and the London Evening standard for about 18 months and are very pleased with the results.

Response is immediate and we are able to reach a wide audience who would not necessarily come into contact with the charity otherwise. Both papers are now a key part of our marketing strategy."
